Call for Proposals

The Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Informatics invites applications for subcontractors related to conducting trainings supporting new businesses, developing the content of professional training and conducting the training and performing tasks related to it. The goal of the tender is to select a company which can provide the professional preparation of a grant proposal in high standards and the implementation of the knowledge-based EIT ICT Labs Budapest Startup Training Program, facilitating common goals. The proposal is aimed at rapid and high growth information and communication technology new companies in the Central and Eastern European region.

 

Task

 

Operating as an organizational unit of the Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Information, the EIT ICT Labs Budapest Associate Partner Group calls for proposals for finding the most promising regional rapid growth businesses ventures in information and communication technology with a huge potential to growth (hereinafter referred to as startup companies) .

The company is responsible for the invitation to tender for the Central and Eastern European region (mainly in Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia , Romania, Bulgaria) among startup companies as well as direct invitation of  startup businesses in the region for the contest, which they personally know.

The company is responsible for drawing up tenders as well as designing the contents of a three-day professional training program, offered as a prize for the best new businesses. Requesting trainers and conducting a training program on the premises of Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Information.

The company is responsible for the professional preparation of the presence at the How To Web (http://2013.howtoweb.co/) event in Bucharest, facilitating the presence of the training program in the region.

 

Contract price and budget plan submission

 

The company is required to submit a budget plan and contract price as part of the project proposal, including net cost of the detailed and itemized list of the services listed above. The financial plan contains the fee in a separate line for the following activities:  announcing the call for proposals, identification and invitation to tender of the best startup businesses, professional design and organization of the training program, inviting the speakers and program execution, as well as the preparation of the participation and implementation of the planned How to Web event in Bucharest.

 

Consultation Period

 

2013, 16 October at 10 am

 

At the above time - without further notice - the task put up for tender will be presented to for those wishing to apply. At the same time we provide personal consultation, and a brief presentation, where the tasks and the issues, that may arise, are addressed.

 

Application Rules

 

Those companies may participate in the tender, which took part in the demonstration, whose economic results of the year 2012 is not negative, based on data from financial statements in conformity with the accounting rules.

 

After the tender one winner will be selected. The successful bidder may sign a fixed-term contract with the Faculty of Informatics of Eötvös Loránd University, which will conclude on December 31, 2013. The Faculty of Informatics of Eötvös Loránd University informs the applicants, that they reserve the right not to contract with the successful bidder even in case of a successful competition.

 

Required elements of the proposal

 

The application must include:

 

1. General part:

  • The applicant company name, full address
  • General presentation material (history, ownership structure, references, scope of activity)
  • List of current customers, their main activity
  • Certificate of Incorporation and specimen signatures
  • Statement of accounts

2. Offer:

  • Professional offer for the implementation of the EIT ICT Labs Budapest Startup Training Program
  • Presentation of the candidate’s network relations within the Central and Eastern European region (mainly in Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria) among startup companies
  • Net contract price and budget plan.

The tender offer is void if it is different from the above conditions.

 

Other information

 

This is a one-round competition. All elements of the project will be evaluated jointly.

 

Deadlines

 

The submission deadline is: October 17, 2013, 10 a.m.

 

Results: October 17, 2013, 12 a.m.
