FAQ

1. What MSc majors can I study in Budapest?

- Service Design and Engineering (SDE) and Security and Privacy (SaP).

2. What kind of degrees can I get at the EIT ICT Labs Master School?

- Students that complete the Master's Programme in ICT innovation will receive a double degree from both universities in their individual study plan. They also earn our EIT ICT Labs certificate, documenting the specific learning outcomes of EIT ICT Labs.

3. What does entry and exit point mean?

- Entry points are the universities (and cities) where you start your two year programme, and exit points are where you finish it. For instance, Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest is an entry and exit point of Service Design and Engineering (SDE) and an exit point of Security and Privacy (SaP).

4. What are the main reasons to choose the EIT ICT Labs Master School?

- The EIT ICT Labs Master School offers a two year programme in which students can choose two universities in two different European countries to build a curriculum of their choice. There are seven technical majors available, from which the students choose one based on their skills and interests.
- Attached to each technical major, the program offers a compulsory Innovation and Entrepreneurship Minor, which adds business skills and an entrepreneurial mindset to the technical competence acquired.
- Almost 20 universities around Europe are committed to the programme. After the successful completion of the programme, the students get a double degree from the respective universities, and an Innovation and Entrepreneurship certificate from EIT.
- EU students do NOT pay tuition fees. In the application procedure, scholarships can be obtained which cover the tuition fees for the non EU students, and additional scholarships are available for EU students.

5. What are the Co-Location Centres (CLCs)?

- The organisation of EIT ICT is based on nodes located in Berlin, Eindhoven, Helsinki, Paris, Stockholm, Trento, and London. Each one has a Co-Location Centre where students, researchers, and business partners come together to share and create ideas.
